Hello! First thing's first... I know that many people have a hard time making a VCV (Vowel-Consonant-Vowel) voice bank for their UTAUs, and I've had a hard time as well. I've also realized that a lot of them such as 'Lite VCV' banks miss out on a LOT of sounds and the ust requires a lot of editing. So, for your convenience, as well as mine, I will post the list of sounds needed. I have checked multiple times and it has every sound, all that you need to do is record, and make the oto.ini.

_rarireroruro
_rerareriruriri
_rirorererure
_rororirarora
_rururararu

_nra'nri'nro'nre'nru
-------------------------------
_n'an'in'on
_n'en'un'n_br
_aieouo_br
_eaeiuii_br
_uuaau_br
_ooiaoa_br
_ioeeue_br
-------------------------------
_iryaryuryeryoryuryu
_iryuryoryeryaryo
_iryoryoryaryerye
_iryeryuryarya

_nrya'nryo'nrye'nryu

-rya
-ryu
-rye
-ryo
-------------------------------
ka ki ke ko ku kya kye kyo kyu
ta ti te to tu tsa tsi tse tso tsu
cha chi che cho chu
sa si se so su sha shi she sho shu
ma mi me mo mu mya mye myo myu
na ni ne no nu nya nye nyo nyu
ha hi he ho hu hya hye hyo hyu
fa fi fe fo fu fya fye fyo fyu
ra ri re ro ru rya rye ryo ryu <- For r's, some may want to add an extra one where they roll more. Just name those like 'rra'
da di de do du dya dye dyo dyu
ba bi be bo bu bya bye byo byu
pa pi pe po pu pya pye pyo pyu
ga gi ge go gu gya gye gyo gyu
ja ji je jo ju
va vi ve vo vu vya vye vyo vyu
za zi ze zo zu
wa wi we wo wu
ya ye yo yu

SO, how this works is, the 'main' sounds like 'ka' and 'ki' and 'ko' (anything without a 'y') use the upper part of the VCV sounds. You can either add the 'base' at the beginning like I have written to save yourself from recording the CVs separately, or you can record them separately.

To make your UTAU compatible with ALL VCV usts, I recommend taking a little more extra time in otoing it.

like making
rarireroruro
into
- ra
ra
a ri
i re
e ro
o ru
u ro

And also renaming those with Hiragana aliases, save for the vowel at the beginning like in normal VCVs.

I hope you have fun Recording! And please link back to the reference sheet you used. No need to credit me, but wouldn't it be nice if you shared this with other people as well?

Thank you!
I made this to help VCV newcomers!

I hope everyone can use it! ;3;

Please link back to this the very first time you release your VoiceBank so others can use it, too! I know how hard it is to do one of these.

How do you say _nra'nri'nro'nre'nru exactly?

Separate the N from the R words.
Like this: "N ra, N ri, N ro, N re, N ru".

You can download VCV voicebanks and listen to the files to help.

You're right, they are.
Even your UTAU needs to breathe, too.

The oto.ini is the thing that makes your UTAU's sound files work properly. It separates syllables from syllables or consonants from vowels.
You make one by going into UTAU The tabs will be named differently in the JAP version than the english.

Jap
Tab T to Tab S
And that opens the Oto.ini.
Here's a tutorial for you.

It's different for the VCV VB though, so you might wanna look up a tutorial for that.

Lol, no problem!
Actually, I'm pretty good with otoing.
If you have a hard time otoing her voice bank, I can do it for you in my free time?
But it will take a while depending on if she's VCV or not @-@ VCV's are a pain in the butt xD

I had forgotten that you moved accounts! ;-; And I was like, 'Why'd she stop posting and stuff?'

Went to old page.

Read last journal entry.

Remembered, and then facepalmed.

And I did get it in English, but some of it was still in Japanese. So I just kinda gave up and moved on. Now I use FL Studio. X3

It seems I've figured most of it out. I need some more midi junk though. All I have is this crappy keyboard with midi out/input.
